Paulownia wood is a very light, fine grained and warp resistant hardwood that is generally used for the production of the traditional okobo sandals, which are the traditional Japanese footwear worn by Maiko, the apprentice Geisha. These sandals are made with a single block of carved wood and they have a very high heel dig at the front of the foot. It is from these sandals that the S162OK Nakano draws it inspiration.
The S162OKOBO Okobo Nakano texture has an attractive appearance due to the regularity of the fibre, along with the warmth and feel of a natural timber finish. The Panels are made from sustainable forests, which ensures that you can rest assured that your design not only looks great but is also helping save the planet.
