Our premium textured laminate range
Ever since we formed as a company back in 2008 we have always been very heavily involved with a textured finish product, and as the years have passed we have seen many other textured products enter the marketplace. The point of difference that we can offer is the realistic look of the European products. Images are taken off actual timber veneer products and these are then replicated through a printing process. The texture is achieved through a specifically designed plate that is pressed onto the High-Pressure laminate and leave the texture behind.
The entire process leaves the laminate looking realistic and, in some cases, to the untrained eye, quite difficult to tell the difference between a Veneer and a man-made product. The main point of difference is with our High-Pressure Laminate there is no need to sand and seal, although I can recall in one case a trade on a Queensland job took a belt sander to a few doors, believing it was a Veneer and needed to be finished, it wasn’t until he got to his fourth door that he realised he was sanding Laminate and the entire four doors needed replacing!
