Urbanstone Chalk’s unique design replicates a Venetian plaster effect and was utilised extensively throughout Mondrian Gold Coast and as a world first was paired with the revolutionary real linen texture of Pearl Yosemite HPL.
Cuoio Canyon and Corten
Contrasting the light natural tones throughout the rooms and suites, Cuoio Canyon and Corten’s darker tones brought texture and depth to the surfaces through the hallways, entry doors and robes.
With its signature mix of immersive design and luxury with a creative twist. Mondrian has redefined what lifestyle hospitality can be, creating jaw-droppingly stunning properties that elevate the hotel experience unlike anything we’ve seen before.
Inside, the hotel’s 208 rooms—which include 132 studios, 76 suites, two- and three-bedroom Beach Houses and the hotel-crowning Sky House—have been imagined by design house Studio Carter, drawing inspiration from the nearby sandy, pandanus-lined shores.
The interiors feature our Innovus surface design Urbanstone Chalk. Its soft natural stone feel and look replicates the Venetian plaster effect, which was perfectly complimented with the unique linen texture finish of Pearl Yosemite from our NATUR Range. These designs together creating a coastal charm with contemporary elegance, creating warm, inviting spaces that echo the natural textures and tones of Burleigh’s coastline. The darker tones of Cuoio Canyon (Innovus) and Corten (Lamicolor) are found throughout the entry doors and hallways and are a must see.
